I Miss

 this.

That was the view out our living room window around this time last year when we were living in Minnesota.

Today it is 83 degrees here in Florida and it's kind of depressing.

  1. We live in Southern Illinois and we have snow once in a while only which I love. Today is one of those days like you had a year ago and the kids are having a blast in the snow. But hey, I would love to enjoy that 83 degree weather soon too!

  2. Looking at it is one thing, beauty
Living in it is another thing, messy
LOL, this is spoken like a true southerner!

  3. Both regions have their pros and cons. Having snow at least for Christmas is nice, though. Right?

    1. I mean to say, "it would be nice to have snow for Christmas at least, so you can get in the holiday spirit, right?"

    2. Right! It's hard to feel like it's Christmas time when it's hot outside!

  4. There are times I miss the snow, but I don't miss the cold weather. It's about 80F here in the Bahamas, maybe that's why I can't get into the Christmas spirit right now, some snow would definitely help. ;-)

    1. I miss you too Becky! And I miss that weather! Rob and I talk all the time about how much we miss living there. Minnesota has the most beautiful seasons I've ever seen.

  6. Nope, trust me, you're looking at the past through rose colored glasses. I like having seasons, but I don't like having bitter cold (temps in the - numbers) and that's what we've had this week in Iowa!
